MOMENTS OF JOY
Then a woman said, Speak to us of Joy and Sorrow.
And he answered:
Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled
with your tears.
A heart that is hurt lets go of one and embraces the other. In life you cannot hold on to one thing. You need an open heart that embraces everything around you.
Happiness is right there in front of you. All you have to do is start observing and capture it in three lines
“A table, a chair, a bowl of fruit and a violin; what else does a man need to be
happy?”
--- Albert Einstein

Lovely post. Frequently, my poems tend toward melancholia and seriousness, but here's one I found to share :)
