Very hard not to be influenced by this one while trying to write for a contest with the same theme: Red :-)
Placing 'red' in L2 is brilliant. It has lifted the poem out of the ordinary.
I love the 'red' here!
I love the contrast of the bold hawk versus the all-encompassing snow.
