Kat shares the backstory. She says-
“The poem was inspired by several experiences that coalesced into the same idea. We had moved to a new home, and it takes time for a new house to feel like a home. There have been other times when a residence didn't feel like a home for other reasons, such as when someone is missing or there was discord. It leaves us with the echoing of WHO, such as who am I beyond these attachments?”
