Someone brought packets of seeds for a tree planting day in the school I work. I got a chance to see the Banyan seeds. They were very tiny and light indeed! This experience lead me to compose the haiku.
Yes, I have never seen banyan seeds. I thought the roots were the origin of any banyan tree and I also heard that crows wash out the seeds picked up by them and that's how the banyan is!!
K. Ramesh on the making of this poem:
The story is this:
Someone brought packets of seeds for a tree planting day in the school I work. I got a chance to see the Banyan seeds. They were very tiny and light indeed! This experience lead me to compose the haiku.
