I have always been fascinated by the wild things of the world, be it wildflowers, wild berries, wild animals or the vast wilderness out there. So no wonder this poem grabbed my attention from the very first time I read it. A mysterious and joyous poem but what’s most interesting about it is the connection between the first two lines and the L3. A very uncommon juxt. That never stopped to fascinate me and I went back to it again and again. Till Meredith Ackroyd came to my rescue...
