Haiku, at one level, is also a form of memory-keeping for me, a diary if you will, and I remember each moment a haiku was composed in. I do go through my haiku and relive those moments once or twice a year, a record of my journey.
This haiku came to me on a foggy winter morning in Goa. I was out by myself outside our home and a dense morning fog swirled all around. The visibility was very low and one couldn't see more than a few metres. There was a slight breeze and the fog opened up in unpredictable swirls.
