We won't be responsible for any copyright issues.

Prompt two:
This week, let’s reflect on another lesser-known type of pollution that impacts us in ways we often overlook: light pollution. As our world becomes increasingly illuminated by artificial lights, what are we missing out on? How does this affect not just humans but other living beings as well? Brightly lit billboards, neon signs, vehicle headlights, excessive indoor lighting, and even our personal devices all contribute to this growing issue. Light pollution disrupts our natural rhythms, strains our eyes, affects mental well-being, and can lead to various health problems—not to mention the harm it causes to other living creatures and their habitats.
Here’s a YouTube video that sheds light on the topic (the focus might be on the United States but the impact is a global one). This week, write your poems with light in mind.

Looking forward to reading your haiku.
Write on! Gauri
