A good selection of verses. I especially fell in love with the Editor's Choice. Baisali Dutt Chaterjee's haiku where the body is a bridge between earth and sky totally resonates with me as I am a sky gazer. I saw myself on my terrace indulging in my favourite pastime, gazing at the sky. Another verse that stays with me is Jayashree Maniyil's "maskless..."
A neat, crisp and tastefully laid out journal with each poem given space as well as importance. The pictures are stunning. I especially liked the detailed analysis of the beautiful haiku in the Editor's Choice feature. A wonderful beginning indeed! Congratulations to all here!
Thank you very much, Lakshmi. Glad to know that you liked the commentary. I don't have experience of writing commentaries before! However, I enjoyed writing this one.
It helped me stay with the haiku for a longer time and that a lot of difference!
Lovely first issue. Congratulations to all of the poets. I like it that you haven't crowded the page with text. Just 2 or 3 poems per page with lots of white space around them which shows them off beautifully.
